As a nine year old child, I had a near death experience that had a profound effect on my life and vision. Since then, I have been able to speak with spirits and often function as a medium for those who have experienced great and/or sudden loss of a loved one. As a teenager I helped organize against racism on the Tennessee/Kentucky border, as a woman I have worked to empower women and their friends to fight for wholeness, health and justice, and as an older woman I have been an advocate for the rights of the differently-abled. I am also a person concerned with conserving the health of ourselves and our planet.

Born a sensitive, I began walking a healing path when I experienced a near death experience at the age of nine. When I was eighteen years old, I began to formally study esoteric arts and various forms of metaphysics and mysticism. In my twenties I realized that I was highly intuitive and had the gift of a medium. For the last 20 years I have been helping people with grief by talking to those who no longer live on this physical plane. For thirty years I have been reading Tarot Cards and for the last 25 years I have been paid to do so. Over time I added animal medicine, runes and stone oracles to that work. I began using crystals for healing trance work in the 1980s and in 1994, after 11 years of practice and study, I became a Reiki Master Teacher of the Usui Reiki Method of Natural Healing. I will work with you face to face, or at a distance and I am willing to travel to you to do performances and healing work with groups of life affirming, earth loving participants.

When not doing healing work, I am a writer. My poetry has received grants and small press publication. I have also developed a number of "Writing To Heal" workshops.
